Exhibit at COMPUTEX 2022 : Discover Your Partners, Investors, and Markets in Asia

Featuring 48 domestic and international startups selected by Garage+, the Inventing Tomorrow Pavilion is one of the highlights of the 2022 COMPUTEX InnoVEX. Through COMPUTEX, Garage+ helped the exhibiting startup teams to engage with key companies in the global supply chain, Asian investors and potential buyers, developed business opportunities and facilitated substantial collaboration. The 2022 COMPUTEX has brought together 400 tech companies. Offering a hybrid online and offline access to the show, COMPUTEX has successfully arranged more than 181 procurement meetings. As of today, COMPUTEX DigitalGo has attracted visits from 69 countries, with the majority of visitors coming from Japan, Germany, USA, Singapore, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia and South Korea.
The international teams participating in the exhibition all praised that Garage+’s Startup Global Program is the most efficient program with the most thorough understanding of the needs of startups. WeavAir, a Canadian startup, offered that through Garage+ business matchmaking and COMPUTEX exhibition, the teams has saved the time spent on looking for proper supply chain, manufacturers and even prospective customers in Taiwan. And this means a lot to startups looking to develop their business in the face of challenges posed by the strained global supply chain.
Pleora Technologies, a startup team from Canada, pointed out that the promotion and exhibition arrangement of Garage+ program has helped them identify many prospective customers, putting them in a good position to develop business in Taiwanese market in the future.
Businesses and venture capitalists make sure that Garage+’s startups showcase is a critical stop of their COMPUTEX visit every year. This is also the most effective venue for business matching and introduction of new technologies. Therefore, it not only attracted many important VIPs, but also drew the eyes of major corporations participating this exhibition. For example, Dynocardia, an American startup, attracted many tech firms focusing on medical technologies to talk about possible collaboration in the future. In addition, Yossi Zilberfarb, the co-founder of the Israeli startup New Photonics, also indicated that his team could not make it to the physical exhibition due the COVID-19 quarantine requirement, but the teams still received a lot of inquiries from prospective companies and scored follow-up matchmaking sessions through the virtual Garage+ exhibition aided by the strong on-site promotion by the staff. This has become a totally unexpected and rewarding experience for them.
Supported by the National Development Council and Asia Silicon Valley Development Agency, Epoch Foundation has selected high-tech driven start-up teams with great market potential among the 308 applications from 37 countries for the 13th batch of the Garage+ Startup Global Program. The online and offline hybrid business matchmaking connects leading startups from around the world with high-end industries in Taiwan. After the exhibition and conference came to an end, Garage+ will continue to assist the selected teams to continue communication with businesses and investors to facilitate substantial business opportunities. From 2015 onward, this program has been recognized widely by startups around the world. Past events have accumulated over 2,000 applications and selected 216 start-ups to for the program. One third of them have successfully established manufacturing or investment agreements with Taiwanese businesses and returned to Taiwan to set up branches or offices.
