Businesses and venture capitalists make sure that Garage+’s startups showcase is a critical stop of their COMPUTEX visit every year. Therefore, it not only attracted many important VIPs, but also drew the eyes of major corporations participating this exhibition. For example, Dynocardia, an American startup, attracted many tech firms focusing on medical technologies to talk about possible collaboration in the future. In addition, Yossi Zilberfarb, the co-founder of the Israeli startup New Photonics, also indicated that his team could not make it to the physical exhibition due the COVID-19 quarantine requirement, but the teams still received a lot of inquiries from prospective companies and scored follow-up matchmaking sessions through the virtual Garage+ exhibition aided by the strong on-site promotion by the staff.
