Get Ready for SummerSaas 2022

SummerSaas is a pitching competition for seed-stage Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) startups founded in Eastern and Central Europe, Israel, Finland, and the Baltics. The event identifies the best seed firms and provides them with the opportunity to pitch to top-tier seed and late-stage funds.

The competition was created by Flashpoint, a venture capital firm that invests in late-seed and beyond software created by software companies. The alternative asset manager seeks out the talent and vision of tech entrepreneurs and combines it with its expertise and capital to help tech firms gradually improve. Flashpoint is well-known for its unwavering efforts to identify and invest in various tailored B2B solutions and B2C applications in the first round. SummerSaas 2022

Flashpoint has announced the date for the third annual SummerSaas Conference, which will take place on June 9, 2022. This year, eligible entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet with hundreds of venture capitalists and investors. Tiger Global, 500 Startups, Earlybird, Prosus Ventures, Cherry Ventures, Runa Capital, Sequoia Europe, Viola Growth, Grove Ventures, David Kezerashvili VC, FilRouge Ventures, Market One Capital, Credo Ventures, Baring Vostok Capital Partners, Icebreaker, Venture Friends, Portfolion, Vendep, BrightCap Ventures, Inovo Ventures, and Early Game Ventures are among those who are expected to attend.

SummerSaas 2022 will have six tracks, which are as follows:

1. Developer Tools
2. Fintech
3. Tech start-ups operating in Ukraine
4. Horizontal SaaS (such as HR, productivity, and support)
5. Vertical SaaS (such as construction and logistics)
6. New Economy (such as gigs and Web3).

SummerSaas is procedural and adheres to strict but adaptable practices to ensure fairness to all entrepreneurs. The procedure’s custom is as follows:

Pre-selection- At this stage, Flashpoint selects 5 Software-as-a-Service companies in various technology tracks using a team of experts. The companies chosen are in the seed and late-seed stages.

Pre-Final VC Panel- The 25 selected firms will have the opportunity to pitch to a panel of venture capitalists, who will select a winner from each track.

Grand Finale VC Panel- The five pre-finalist firms present in front of the Grand Finale Venture Capital Panel, which selects the overall best firm.

Winner Announcement- The winner receives sponsor prizes from Flashpoint’s portfolio venture capitalists and other top-tier technology organizations.
