Trellis 3D is an independent, browser-based AI 3D generation service for turning reference images or text descriptions into initial 3D models. It helps designers, creators and small teams explore shapes and asset concepts before investing time in detailed manual modeling.
The workflow starts with an image upload or a written prompt. Users choose a supported generation model, inspect the result in an interactive browser preview, and export it in formats including GLB, OBJ, FBX and USDZ. The service offers access to multiple model options, including TRELLIS 2, Hunyuan3D, Seed3D, Tripo and Meshy, so users can compare approaches within the same web interface.
Typical uses include early prop concepts, product visualization ideas and rough assets for design or game-development prototypes. These are starting points, not a promise of production-ready meshes: geometry, topology and other details may need cleanup in a 3D editor before deployment. An initial trial is available, with paid access for continued use; the service does not promise unlimited free generation.
Trellis 3D is not the official Microsoft TRELLIS research project. This company entry is submitted by the team operating the service. Product information and the current workflow are available at the official website.
