rapport page experience google search console

Many tools on Google have been put in place over time to improve the user experience with ever more precision in relation to the activities and searches of each. It is in this context that we will find the brand’s new program presented in a specific tab and named experience on the page. We will see in what follows the essential information on the subject as well as its different possible uses.

Definition and functions of Google Search Console

Formerly known as the Webmaster Tool, the Google Search Console is an element that has been offered by the brand in order to improve and optimize users’ online sites. Without going into too much technical detail, the main purpose of this page is to complete an analysis of several criteria in order to boost the referencing of the site in question.

It is therefore a program that adds to and completes another tool of the same kind, Google Analytics, which itself will specialize more in managing the flow and traffic on the page. The main Search Console utilities As for them, they need to manage links better, track SEO performance or even find essential research keywords.

Performance analysis

After the overview, the first category found in Search Console happens to be performance. It will be possible here to pre-select the search mode in Web, video or image in order to compare with more details. There are a total of 4 types of search filters at this level with:

  • The average click-through rate;
  • The number of clicks in the results;
  • The number of impressions;
  • The average position of the pages.

Add to this that it will be possible with this in mind to also change the date tab knowing that it is customizable with an analysis time that can go up to 16 months back.

Cover module

The blanket is the very first module found at the level of the Index section of Search Console. This contains a total of 4 categories with the first one that will be linked to URL errors that cannot be indexed by Google. The second concerns URLs that were eventually indexed but still contain certain limitations. The valid category, for its part, presents indexed URLs and is validated without any anomaly. Finally, we will have the excluded which, unlike errors, will not voluntarily index URLs.

Data and other specifics of the experience page report

To stay as close as possible to what is being done in terms of SEOs and SEO search criteria, Google Search Console ended up integrating an experience report. The latter will also include information such as the percentage of mobile URLs that could be noted as satisfactory or the number of Good categorizations that could be indicated.

Invalid URLs for the Google Experience Page report

We can notice several specificities that lead the Search Console experience page report to consider a URL invalid. This is for example the case if it shows a poor state if it is not visible in the report. Core Web Vitals or if it shows that improvement is necessary. In the same vein, a URL will not be accepted either if it is offered via an HTTP protocol.
