Buying qualified leads

One of the keys to ensuring the success of a modern business is the quality of its leads. These are commercial contacts that allow it to generate sales, sign contracts, solicit services and more.

Companies compete in getting the most and the best leads possible and as a result, a new way to collecting them is emerging such as a direct purchase from a specialized service provider. So should you continue to generate your own leads through hard-crafted advertising campaigns or simply buy from a pro?

Is it profitable to buy qualified leads?

If you’ve ever tried digital marketing, then you already know that building a portfolio is not an easy task. Actually, it has always been hard, but it’s even worse now that eCommerce has emerged and there is hardly any limits or barriers to transactions. The supply exceeds the demand and we often find ourselves in more than competitive markets.

Due to frustration, some are tempted to directly acquire leads from professionals. Unlike an agency specializing in the generation of qualified leads, this type of organization simply provides you with leads found all over the Internet. You might think that this is the easy and ideal method, but on the other side of the coin is very risky. That’s not all, scheduled lead buying also exposes you to:

  • A cutthroat competition;
  • A low quality.

As it sold it to you, the agent reserves the right to sell the same lead to other customers. Thus generating a certain competitive atmosphere between you and the other target organizations. Also, the leads purchased are not of good quality as those generated conventionally.

Should you then generate your own qualified leads?

There remains the good old method that involves running advertising campaigns. It comprises all inbound marketing techniques that companies use to create brand awareness. Unless you are a digital marketing pro or have experience in the subject, you will not be able to generate as many leads as a professional can to sell you. It is therefore not the right method to adopt if you are looking for many leads as opposed to quality leads. It’s important to note that the few leads you generate will be eventually profitable.

The yield of the leads generated is much higher than those acquired directly. So it’s a good way to grow loyal customers. Another characteristic of conventionally generated leads is that it takes time and so you must be patient. So it’s true to say that lead generation requires patience and determination, but the efforts will eventually pay off.

What is the hybrid model of lead generation that you can take advantage of?

There is now a whole new way to get new leads. As mentioned above, these are specialized agencies that are dedicated to leads generation. Their services range from running advertisement campaigns, monitoring your company online visibility, offers suggestions on how to improve conversion rates, and more; they basically take care of everything. This is an excellent alternative for those who simply don’t want to buy leads but do not have the time to manage their own advertising campaigns.
