Mammapack announces the opening of the largest online supermarket dedicated to Italians abroad , an e-commerce that offers more than 10,000 products.
What is “The package from down”?
The concept of “pack from below” in a foreign version was conceived by Flavio Nappi and Romolo Ganzerli , both grown up in Naples and residing abroad for 12 and 6 years respectively in Paris and Geneva for study purposes first, then for professional careers . The two managers specializing in entrepreneurship at the ESCP Europe Business School have conceived an online shopping experience characterized by the convenience of home delivery and the convenience of choosing between food products, home care and personal hygiene.
“We are in love with the food and drinks that we found every day in Italy. I believe that the digital revolution and globalization can bring us closer to products that make us feel good, pampered and cared for as if we were at home with our mother ”, says Romolo.
What does it offer?
MammaPack was born from the desire to satisfy the daily need of Italians abroad to enjoy all Italian products, paying them the right amount. The service is carefully designed to offer the definitive solution to those who want to remain tied to the flavors and emotions of adolescence. Among the strong points stand out the breadth of the range, the competitive prices and the care of the preparation of the packs with three-wave cartons, the maximum in the protection of goods. The crux of the shipping costs has been solved by setting them flat, thus avoiding the surprises of uncontrolled expenses when completing the order. Express courier shipments will serve 20 countries in Europe with delivery times of 48/72 hours depending on the destination.

The yuppies generation of the 1980s, millennials, newborns abroad but also Italian mothers who want to send their children the products they trust. Until now, accessing Italian products abroad was prohibitive due to the high prices and the scarcity of the range. Since there is no service, MammaPack allows Italians abroad to buy groceries as in Italy. The concept of “pack from below” has therefore been updated which, until a few years ago, traveled from the South to the North of Italy.
