kopilot : an easier way to run a business with kpi

kopilot has two founders: Laurent and Pierre-Luc.
Laurent is a former consultant with a specialization in the definition and implementation of corporate dashboard for small businesses and large corporations, after having achieved his Law degree and his Master of Business and Administration. Laurent is born and lives in Belgium.
Pierre-Luc is a self-taught back-end developer. He works as a developer on large digital transformation projects and contributed to two startups.
He is born in Quebec, Canada, and lives in Belgium.
They met in late 2015, working on the same assignment. In the early days, they were collaborating through a consulting initiative, called cuBIcle.
It was a reporting service to outsource the business controlling.
The hourly rates and the instability of the worksheets killed the project as it was too expensive for the SME market segment.
Together they made the decision to create software: kopilot.
Your products and services
kopilot offers corporate dashboards and operational reporting.
It helps business leaders from SME with running the business with KPI (key performance indicators).
Additionally to monitoring their sales, Business leaders benefit from sales forecasts at the end of the year, or over the next 12 months, to be able to anticipate – and fix- the curse of business events.
They also may know their burn rate and plan their expenses to either control the treasury and cut costs when the treasury is at risk.
Finally, and perhaps is it the most important, kopilot gives visibility back on the business and peaces the anxiety business leader can suffer.
Your success factors
The success of kopilot focuses on engaging visualizations and automation.
The principles of “connectors.” Acquiring data and syncing them is automated if you already use software with which we interface. There is no need for external resources for the setup. No need to ask the IT department to give a hand. No need to wait a couple of days or weeks to have a demo. No need to wait for the setup of your account.
The critical success factor is that simple: try it with your data. In less than the next five minutes, you will know if you love it.
Your factors differentiating and disruptive compared to the existing
There is no disruption as such. We selected carefully features we found excellent from other players on the market, and we blended them with our strong business knowledge and the Management Cockpit principles.
Each page of kopilot answers a business question with the help of visual components that address the three types of intellect: visual, rational, emotional.
The software performs the analysis a business controller would make. It highlights the issue and immediately emphasizes the ones that require immediate action.
Your business model (how do you make money?)
kopilot works on a subscription model. The subscription is monthly or yearly.
The pricing plan is unique. And you get two months for free when you pay for the year at once.
kopilot provides unlimited access to all its features and gives access to unlimited users.
A few words about your competitors
We mainly observe two types of competitors: consultants and software.
Consultants and financial freelancers are extraordinarily relevant and skilled. But they come with a price. And with a presence. The tools they build are often manual and rely on someone to pull the trigger. It requires much money when small and medium companies are already dealing with a tight treasury.
Software, on the other hand, is often designed for self-business intelligence. Self business intelligence requires the user to create their report, to write their queries. In other words, it requires time when the business executive already misses it.
Although we identify that the blank state syndrome paralyzed most of our users. They did not know what to look at, nor where to start.
