Indie Game Battle

Blob Game Studios published the 8 players’ game with characters fighting on large stages in 2015. In this multiplayer action game, one wins when they knock their opponents off using movesets such as normal attacks, smash attacks, and special attacks.

The game is inspired by the Super Smash Bros series, and the platform has more than 60 indie characters in the game.

What makes India Game Battle Stand Out?

There are many other Smash Bros-like games in the market, but the India Battle works well with team battles. Most of the games’ characters belong to the Blob Games Studios’ projects, while others are from various games and developers.

For instance, a character named Thunder from Storm and Sword was initially used in the Indie Game Battle; however, it was removed when the developing team discovered that the character creator secretly behaved counter-intuitively in this game.

Additionally, the game has dropped several planned characters, and a handful of the initial list or third-party ones remain. The present ones have their unique move set and abilities. Also, some mechanics and movesets were purposely designed for teams in Indie Game Battle.

The PP meter determines how you can use some moves on some characters during the game while the bar refills over time. In powerful moves, the PP bar simulates a cooldown, while in some characters, the PP is kept for using some of their moves. Knowing how to use these tricks wisely can help you win the battle.

Players win the Indie Game Battle based on the strategy they have implemented. For instance, a strategy such as hitting the enemy hard enough is not the best strategy. Some characters can poison opponents, cause fire damage, slow down their movement, or drain their activities on the PP using certain moves and more. So your strategy should be to exploit your opponents’ weaknesses or disadvantage them.

The Indie Game Battle falls under the fighting and platformer genre. It’s available on platforms such as Mac, PC, and Linux. Others games that you can try on this site include Honor of Kings, Minion Masters, and more.
